The aim of project 6 is to synthesize the achievements in projects 1-5, formulate alternative models for a Swedish legal EQS system and to evaluate the proposed regulation in relation to demands for legitimacy, cost-effectiveness, legal and administrative coherence and adaptation. The first two years will consist of developing the methodology, planning how to perform the project in practice and other preparation. The third year will focus on final synthesizing, developing alternative legal models and evaluation. Two workshops with different stakeholders are part of the evaluation. While project 1–5 focuses basically on water systems, parts of project 6 will include EQS for different kinds of EQS (primarily air).
